Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Integuru and how it works.

How does Integuru work?
Integuru analyzes the target website's network requests and reverse-engineers the underlying API structure. We then generate production-ready code that makes direct HTTP requests, bypassing the need for browser automation entirely.
What websites can Integuru integrate with?
We can integrate with most websites that have a web interface. This includes SaaS platforms, healthcare systems, banking portals, logistics platforms, enterprise software, and more. If it has a website, we can likely generate an API for it. In rare cases where we cannot integrate, we will communicate clearly with you.
Compare Integuru with browser automation and RPA?
We built Integuru because we ourselves were dissatisfied with browser automation and traditional RPA for production integrations. Browser automation works through the frontend UI, which makes it brittle, slow, and low-throughput. Even small UI changes can break flows, and every action must be executed step by step, as a human would when using the product. Adding AI reasoning on top does not solve these core limitations. Even if AI can interpret the page and decide what to do next, it is still operating through the browser layer. That means it can still make mistakes, encounter ambiguous states, and move too slowly for many real production use cases. Integuru takes a different approach. Instead of automating the browser, it analyzes the platform's underlying network requests to generate robust APIs. This makes integrations faster, more reliable, and much better suited for production workloads at scale. Integuru also has a major advantage in edge case coverage: rather than breaking when real-world usage branches into different logic, states, or paths, Integuru is designed to automatically account for that complexity.
How reliable are Integuru-generated APIs?
Our generated APIs have a 99.9%+ reliability rate. Because we make direct HTTP requests rather than relying on browser automation, integrations are much faster and more stable. Our system also monitors for changes and can automatically update APIs. As a precaution, we have 24/7 on-call engineers ready to get involved if manual updates are needed. All of this means we can support enterprise-level demands for stability and reliability.
How much does Integuru cost and why?
Our standard pricing is $0.10 per API call, with an $800 monthly minimum per platform. This includes 24/7 on-call maintenance and hands-on customer support by default. We price this way because it's easy for customers to get started at a lower volume, while aligning our success with theirs as usage grows. In practice, customers tend to prefer this model because it's straightforward and scales with real product usage. For higher-volume companies, enterprise deployments, or teams with unique requirements, we also offer volume discounts and custom pricing.
What authentication methods does Integuru support and integrate with?
We support a wide variety of authentication flows, including session cookies, phone and email 2FA, and other verification steps. For more niche or other types of flows, we can work closely with you to provide support.
How long does it take Integuru to generate an API?
Most APIs are generated within 20 minutes. If you want our team to manually create an API, our turnaround time is 1-3 days.
Can Integuru's pricing model accommodate high-volume usage and special situations?
Yes, we support many customers with high-volume needs and are happy to provide volume-based discounts. We can also adjust pricing for special cases, such as switching to account-based pricing.
What is Integuru's 24/7 on-call support?
In rare cases when an integration requires manual intervention or an update, our engineers are on call 24/7 to respond and make the necessary changes. This is included by default for paying customers and is part of our commitment to being a reliable, hands-on infrastructure partner.
When do I need Integuru?
If official APIs exist and provide all the necessary features, we recommend using them. But in practice, companies often impose high barriers to their use. We can certainly support you in those scenarios. If official APIs don't exist or lack features, you have come to the right place. We're the leader in building and maintaining integrations when appropriate APIs aren't available.
Can I build APIs myself? Should I?
Yes, you absolutely can build APIs yourself, either fully by hand or with the help of a general coding agent. But whether you should depends on how important the integration is to your product. Building production-grade integrations is a high-precision, high-comprehensiveness problem. It's not just about making the main flow work. You also need to cover edge cases, handle different branching logic and states, adapt to changes in the target platform, and maintain the reliability and performance that real production use demands. Integuru is purpose-built for this. It's designed to provide broader coverage across websites, create more reliable APIs, handle real-world edge cases, and back them with dedicated hands-on support and 24/7 maintenance. If integrations are important or core to your product, building them yourself is possible, but usually not the best option.
Who and what is Integuru NOT for?
If you need to mass-scrape public data, we recommend using a dedicated scraping solution instead of Integuru. There are many such options for scraping. Integuru is built for complex read/write features, enabling production-grade integrations that go beyond data extraction. For websites that are common targets for scraping, they tend to implement specific antibot mechanisms that Integuru is not currently focused on addressing. We'll enable support for these specific mechanisms in the future, but for the time being, it is not our main focus.
Is Integuru HIPAA-compliant?
Yes, we're HIPAA-compliant and sign BAAs at no additional cost.
